Century 22 was a game depicting the history of the 22nd century. We are actually in Century 23 now, as we've made it mostly unscathed into the 23rd Century! Players take the roles of nations, responding to changing social, economic, political, and technological conditions. Turns represent 5 year time periods, which means that players will be more concerned with long term trends and crises than daily political events.

Do we want to have a uniform template for the nations and other pages? Or are we doing this ad hoc?

ad hoc seems cool with me...

I'm using SEAA's template, roughly. Easier than writing something from scratch.

Well, I've just made mine up from scratch. It has a picture of an eagle and everything. So I hope we stick with ad hoc...

How do you do the pictures? I've missed that in the help section..

After clicking on 'edit page', a link should come up just next to the three buttons at the top saying 'upload files'. Click on that, then upload the picture. Then after its uploaded, right click on the name of the picture in that list, and click on 'copy shortcut'. Paste this shortcut into the page where you want the picture, and it should come up automatically. I think that's it, anyway.

Just a suggestion, for anyone who feels up to doing it. You know what would be really really good here? If we had a section called 'rules'. And it had all the rules in it. I imagine it would be useful for new players and oldies alike not to have to traul through the several different rules documents on the yahoo site whenever we forget something or need something clarified. I would do it myself...but the rules really aren't my strong point, as Ben can attest to, I'm sure ;-)

Rules would be good. Since a couple people were working on the FAQs they could post it here when they are done.

Gomen. What can I say but that I am a perfectionist. Who knows, maybe we could use this stuff to write a book or three.

hey, the "IN THE NEWS" info is not entirely accurate, the SDL was formed because its members felt threatened by DJA members

Canada said, and Brazil implied, the Diana/Sindhu issue as a piece of the alliance.

Well, both the ECDP and TOP we have common interests in such planets, terraforming, defense, policies....
But Diana/Sindhu weren't the reason of the SDL birth, I could point to some DJA members, but as the Diana/Sindhu will be just propaganda in the FrontPage.
